To help you plan your corporate Christmas party, here’s a list of some of this year’s hottest party planning tips:

1. Styling
It’s all about bright colours this coming spring and summer. Think ‘Day at the Beach’ bold, full Disney technicolour, and big juicy chunks of the colour-wheel. Dull and neutral is over, and 99 flavours is in.

2. Themes
Three of the themes we are loving this year are Art Attack where guests paint masterpieces, graffiti walls and papier mache giant creatures. We are loving LEGO Land where guests can help build mini LEGO forts and cities, and Inner Child where guests cut loose on trampolines, in adult-sized ball pits and on jumping castles.

3. Welcome drinks
A seasonal welcome drink really sets the scene from the moment guests arrive. The last few years have seen Aperol spritzes, Negronis and sangria bars flourish, but this year, we predict it’s all about the kombucha cocktail. Low sugar, not especially bad for you, and deeeeeelicious.

4. Catering
It’s all about paella and foods stations. Ditch the sit-down dinners and opt for parties where guests can wander around, sit wherever they like, and pick and choose from a range of dishes. Paella provides theatre (and also helps shy guests find a social foothold – our Chefs love a chat), and food stations help you conquer the dreaded dietaries by subtly separating out vegans and gluten-free diners, as well as people with seafood and nut allergies.

5. Entertainment
Festival vibes are where it’s at. Hire some drummers to get everyone in the mood (Brazilian, African or even Japanese), put some professional dancers or capoeira performers on the D-Floor, have costumed stilt walkers and fire twirlers wandering through the crowd, and you might even consider including some sort of pagan fire ceremony or rousing Gospel choir performance to kick off the party.

Food Adventure are the best rated paella catering sydney providers. Please see our home page for more information.
